      Biography

 

       My Dahann was born in Paris in 1971 . She is the first child of a family of four.

       An accountant mother and a father working in the printing industry,

       her parents will raise her with an open mindest toward art, culture and travelling.

      She will study at St Andre middle school and Sacre Cœur high school ;

      She ‘ll gat her A-level in Literature.

 

      Since her youngest age, playing piano, drawing and dancing were My Dahan’s passion.

      She’ll start with classical dancing at the age of 3, a practice she ‘ll develop untill

      she enters the Famous French opera audition «  Petits Rats ». Being a tall little girl,

      he won’t pursue that dream of Opera further but will keep dancing untill the age

      of 25, and appear on many stages.

 

     She also entertained her practice of Piano and ended up getting the 1st place

     at «  Concours de France » junior at age 12. She draws as a hobby and exercices

    her skills painting her favorite cartoon characters or creating floral on wooden boxes.

                           Professional life

​

                                                     Born commnicator, she will developp in active life

                                                     as a buisinesswoman closing deals after deals in

                                                     real estate and fashion before taking ff the ground

                                                     to start flying for one of the most renowned French fleet as an air hostess. During her travels, colors images and

                                                     inspirations grow within My and painting becomes her predilection. Every layover, every journey, every adventure tells a                                                      new story on My’s first artworks that meet a great success with friends and family. Repeated back and forth to the west I                                                        Indies and the south Indian Ocean islands inspired My in a similar way they may have inspired the likes of Paul 

                                                    Gauguin ; her influences will be the inspiration force behind her first pieces.

 

                                                    As life goes on, My follows her path, build a career and is now working for some of the best audiovisual productions in                                                         Paris, using a mix of her businesswoman and visual conception skills. At 29 years old she became a mother ans as she                                                           evolves, she spends more and more time painting. What used to be a passion expresed in her free time has now become

                                                    a full time occupation. She starts finfing her ownstyle and her art starts being displayed in few small exhibitions.
